Mostly this blog will cover anything related to the outdoors such as hunting, camping, fishing, fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, archery, survival, and anything related. However, from time to time, I may cover other interesting events and expos, specifically any that involve the Wounded Warrior Program and Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. I welcome all comments and advice, as I am new to blogging. I am currently stationed at Fort Drum, New York, but will be retiring from the Army this June after 23 years of service. I will keep this short and leave you with this thought.
“The weather for Sunday is forcasted to be sunny with temperatures reaching the fifty’s. It has been almost a month since I hung my waders to dry after standing in the Salmon River, Pulaski, New York, for four hours trying to coax a dormant steelhead into taking my fly. I’m anxious for Sunday to get here. I will be there as the first rays of sun explode through the evergreen’s, lighting up the water. This will be a great day for fishing and to try out the fly rod I recently purchased from ebay. I hope it fishes as beautifully as it looks. Here’s to hoping the weathermans forecast is correct. Got to go now, have to research which flies to tie.
